About Chamal Foundation Limited
Learn why the foundation exists, who we serve, what guides our work and how we hope to grow into a stronger source of care for vulnerable people.
Touch Every Life.
Chamal Foundation Limited is a caring organization inspired by compassion and the belief that helping another person should be practical, respectful and sincere. The foundation carries out its current activities at its home in Nakifuma and brings together people who want to support vulnerable children, young people, elderly people and families.
We believe that vulnerability does not look the same for everyone. A child may need support to stay in school. A teenage girl may need dignity and hygiene items. An elderly person may need food, companionship or someone to check on their wellbeing. A family may need guidance or practical assistance during a difficult period. Our role is to listen, understand the situation and respond responsibly within the resources available.
Our identity is connected to Mathew 25:35 and the message of caring for people in need. For us, faith and compassion should be visible through action. That is why the words “Touch Every Life” are important to the foundation.
What we are working toward.
Our mission explains what we do today. Our vision explains the kind of future we want to help create.
Our Mission
To bring hope, compassion and opportunities that transform lives of vulnerable people.
In simple terms, this means we want people facing difficult circumstances to receive care, encouragement and real opportunities that can improve their lives.
Our Vision
To see vulnerable children, elderly people and families living with greater dignity, care, safety and opportunity.
As the foundation grows, we want to develop stronger programs, trusted partnerships and sustainable projects that can serve people for many years.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to turn compassion into action. We want to understand needs, mobilize people and resources, provide practical support at our home, encourage shared responsibility and build long-term solutions where possible.
Our Long-Term Direction
We want to strengthen children’s support, expand care for elderly people, improve the activities and services provided at our home, and eventually establish safe elderly care homes or centres when the foundation has the resources and systems to operate them properly.
The principles we want people to experience in our work.
Values are important because they guide how we treat people, how we communicate and how we make decisions.
We try to understand what another person is going through and respond with kindness rather than judgment.
Every person has worth. Children, elderly people and families should be treated with respect, privacy and care.
We want to be truthful about what we have done, what we have not yet done and how future support is used.
We want to plan carefully, keep good records and avoid making promises that the foundation cannot responsibly fulfil.
We value people of different ages and backgrounds and want vulnerable people to feel welcomed rather than forgotten.
We believe lasting care becomes stronger when families, volunteers, supporters and organizations work together.
Where possible, we look beyond immediate help and think about opportunities that can strengthen a person’s future.
Even small acts of care can remind people that they are not forgotten and that a better future is possible.
Our work includes children and elderly people.
Chamal Foundation’s mission is broad because vulnerability can affect people throughout life.
Children and school-going young people
We want children to learn, grow and participate in daily life with dignity. Our support may include education-related assistance, hygiene and dignity support, activities at our home, encouragement and connections to future opportunities.
Elderly people
Older people can face loneliness, poor living conditions, limited family support or difficulty meeting basic needs. We want to strengthen the care we give elderly people at our home and build a future program that gives them practical help, companionship and respect.
Families and vulnerable households
Many challenges affecting children and older people are connected to household circumstances. We therefore value family involvement and practical support that strengthens the people around vulnerable individuals.
Visitors, Volunteers and Partners
Our home is also a place where visitors, volunteers and partners can take part in approved activities. Schools, churches, families, professionals and organizations can support the foundation with skills, useful items, partnerships and other forms of help.
Our home is the centre of our current activities.

Our home is a place for care, listening and practical support.
Chamal Foundation’s current approach is based on welcoming people to our home, listening carefully and treating everyone with respect. Activities at the home can include spending time with children and elderly people, sharing meals, providing practical items, offering encouragement and understanding what kind of support may be useful. Keeping the activities at our home also gives the foundation a familiar place where support can be organized carefully.
We want our public information to be truthful.
As the foundation grows, this website can become a clear public record of verified activities, projects, partnerships, donations, expenses and impact. We will add numbers only when they have been properly recorded and confirmed.
